Roost of the Pygmy Nuthatch

Nuthatch
I love nuthatches. Especially pygmy nuthatches. They're tiny little birds, very cooperative in raising young, and they play sardines when roosting for the night (sardines = reverse hide 'n' seek, in which one person hides and the rest are seekers, all clustering together as they find the hidey-hole). This was ink, colored pencil, and watercolor; donated to a charity auction in conjuction with the local birding festival.
